Shipping and Receiving

Position Summary

We are seeking a reliable and detail‑oriented Shipping & Receiving Specialist to support daily warehouse and logistics operations. This role is responsible for coordinating incoming and outgoing shipments, maintaining inventory accuracy, preparing materials for shipment, and assisting with warehouse production tasks. The ideal candidate will be comfortable working in both a hands‑on warehouse environment and completing basic administrative duties using Microsoft Excel and email communication.

• Coordinate and schedule inbound and outbound truck shipments
• Process shipping and receiving documentation accurately
• Use pre‑created Excel spreadsheets to track shipments, inventory, and order information
• Send and respond to emails regarding shipping schedules, deliveries, and inventory updates
• Create and save PDF documents for shipping records and customer documentation
• Load, unload, move, and organize materials using a forklift
• Assist with packaging and securing shipments using banding equipment and other tools
• Operate warehouse tools and equipment including:
• Skill saw
• Nail guns
• Banding machine
• Tape measure
• Build, crate, or prepare materials for shipment as needed
• Maintain accurate inventory counts and assist with inventory control processes
• Inspect incoming and outgoing products for quality and accuracy
• Keep warehouse, shipping, and receiving areas clean and organized
• Follow all company safety procedures and warehouse protocols

• Previous shipping and receiving or warehouse experience preferred
• Forklift operation experience required
• Basic computer skills including:
• Microsoft Excel
• Email communication
• Creating and saving PDFs
• Understanding of inventory concepts and material tracking
• Ability to safely use hand tools and warehouse equipment
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
• Ability to lift, move, and handle materials throughout the workday
• Dependable with strong communication and teamwork skills

• Experience scheduling freight or coordinating truck deliveries
• Familiarity with warehouse inventory systems
• Experience in manufacturing or industrial environments

• Fast‑paced warehouse and shipping environment
• Combination of office‑related administrative tasks and physical warehouse duties

Frequent standing, lifting, bending, and equipment operation required

Work Schedule - 7:00am-3:30pm with required overtime to meet deadlines

Pay - $20.00-$25.00 / hr DOE
