Collection Agent

Compensation for this position is $17.50 per hour

Work with the collections, accounting, and legal team to recover costs incurred on clients disability claims.

• Process credit card payments through our virtual process terminal
• Create deposit memos for checks and money orders
• Maintain payment schedules for clients on reoccurring payments—between 3 to 5 payments total
• Waive costs when approved by attorney
• Phone outreach to collect costs from clients
• Create and send out cost statements to clients
• Associate payments to clients files
• Notify case staff of costs collected
• Send out files to close
• Monthly reporting for overall amount collected and outstanding

• Ability to work full time in office Monday through Friday
• Bilingual in English and Spanish is preferred but not required
• High school diploma or GED
• Highly organized with the ability to multitask, prioritize, handle a fast-paced environment, and manage workload with a great attitude and minimal supervision
• At least one year of office experience is preferred
• On-site location: works on-site in the office to be fully immersed in the work and to gain direct experience alongside the team
