Key Responsibilities- Plans and supervises trade activities on Special Projects and for startup and checkout needs. Selects foremen, assigns manpower and oversees fieldwork to include: means and methods, material purchases, equipment rental needs, safety, quality and production.
- Assists PMs with site walks, scope and price development for Owner Direct.
- Establishes and maintains good working relationships with Owner Direct.
- Assists PMs and foremen with managing subcontractors on assigned projects.
- Tracks and manages startup/check-out needs on all construction projects. Assists PMs with identifying, scheduling and managing critical startup resources and requirements (e.g., factory startup, CES technicians, subcontractors, pre-functional and other startup documentation).
- Collaborates with Plumbing, Piping and Sheet Metal Trade Managers to manage construction field personnel.
- Forecasts short and long-term labor requirements on assigned projects.
- Tracks and manages construction warranty needs on assigned projects.
- Performs other related duties and assignments as required.
- Special projects foremen, superintendents and startup technicians.
- 10+ years mechanical experience in technical and supervisory roles.
- Valid Florida Driver s License and insurable under company policy.
- Ability to work independently and coordinate with foremen, GCs, and other trades.
- Comfortable training or supporting apprentices.
- OSHA 30 Certification
- First aid
- CPR Current Certification
- Indoor/outdoor construction sites across Florida.
- Heat, cold, heights, and noisy environments.
- Occasional overtime or weekend work.
- Must wear required PPE.
