Operations Manager

In this role, you will work in close, strategic partnership with the Capacitor Product Line Manager, while directly supervising our Production and Supply Chain leaders. • Departmental & Team Leadership:
  Directs all Capacitor operations across Production and Supply Chain, directly supervising the Production Manager and Supply Chain Leader while partnering with HR to develop team skills and maintain a positive culture.
• Operational Execution & Safety:
  Establishes production goals, ensures process reliability, and strictly enforces HSE compliance to cultivate a proactive accident-prevention culture.
• Integrated Planning & Supply Chain:
  Co-leads the MPS process, manages MRP systems, and coordinates with procurement and warehouse teams to align capacity, secure material availability, and optimize inventory.
• Continuous Improvement & Efficiency:
  Drives productivity and reduces production cycles/WIP by leveraging Lean Manufacturing tools, analyzing bottlenecks, and managing load plans.
• Performance Tracking & Quality:
  Establishes and analyzes key SQCD metrics to guarantee On-Time and On-Quality delivery, while acting as the primary operational liaison for cross-functional escalations.
• Strategic & Financial Management:
  Proposes and implements an Industrial Master Plan (IMP) aligned with GBU strategy, driving capital investments, budget execution, and cost-effective operations in partnership with Finance.

• 10+ years of manufacturing experience, specifically within specialized technological fields focusing on small- to medium-volume, highly customized production.
• Demonstrated success as a Production Manager, Supply Chain Manager, or Operations Manager in a manufacturing environment.
• Strong proficiency in ERP systems and core production planning methods, including S&OP, MPS, and MRP; experience with Sage x3 preferred.
• Advanced proficiency in continuous improvement tools (Lean, VSM, 5S, QRQC) alongside a proven ability to analyze bottlenecks and manage load plans.
• Results-oriented leadership, driving excellence in Safety, Quality, Cost, and Delivery.
• Strong communication skills, tailored to communicate with all levels within a matrix environment.
• An entrepreneurial spirit and capability to balance real-time operational objectives with short- and medium-term transformation goals to drive operational excellence.
