Armed Security Guard

Must be 21 years of age or older. Must have Florida Security D & G License through the Dept. of Agriculture. Own your own weapon and level 3 holster. We are looking for an officer who can work 8:00pm - 6:00am (10hr shifts). $18.50 per hour. FT

Mon
- Thu (10hrs nights, 40hrs per week). PT

Schedule:

Fri
- Sun (10hr nights, 30hrs per week).

• Maintain the security and safety of the assigned site through regular patrols
• Actively enforce rules, regulations, policies, and procedures
• Respond to emergency situations and provide security assistance
• Engage with the public to offer assistance and directions
• Monitor closed-circuit television for potential issues

• Maintain a physical presence within the facility as a visible deterrent to illegal activity
• Provide superior customer care to enhance the facility's atmosphere
• Keep accurate logs and write detailed incident reports
• Prevent unauthorized access to the area and items within

• Excellent interpersonal and customer service skills
• Must be 21 years old
• Must have valid armed license where required
• Strong commitment to the well‑being of others
• Ability to solve problems quickly and efficiently
• Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail
• Proficient in using computer systems and applications

• High school diploma or equivalent
• At least one year of related experience
• Active Armed Security license
• Valid Driver's License

• Prolonged periods of sitting and/or standing for up to 4 hours
• Foot patrol and ability to lift up to 15 pounds
• Must stay alert at all times
