Job Summary:

We are seeking a hardworking and detail-oriented Concrete Finisher Laborer to join our construction team. This role involves assisting in the placement, finishing, protecting, and repairing of concrete surfaces. The ideal candidate will have experience in concrete work, a strong work ethic, and the ability to perform physically demanding tasks in various weather conditions.

• Assist with the pouring, spreading, and leveling of concrete using rakes, shovels, and screeds.
• Smooth and finish concrete surfaces using hand and power tools such as floats, trowels, and edgers.
• Apply curing and sealing compounds to protect concrete surfaces.
• Set up and dismantle concrete forms and framework.
• Ensure proper alignment and elevation of concrete surfaces according to specifications.
• Use hand and power tools to cut and shape expansion joints and edges.
• Repair and resurface worn or damaged concrete structures.
• Follow all safety procedures and guidelines to maintain a safe work environment.
• Assist with cleanup and maintenance of tools, equipment, and job sites.

• Previous experience in concrete finishing or related construction work preferred.
• Ability to use finishing tools, including trowels, edgers, and floats.
• Basic understanding of concrete mixing and setting processes.
• Physical stamina and ability to lift heavy materials and work in various weather conditions.
• Ability to follow instructions and work well as part of a team.
• Knowledge of workplace safety procedures.

• Experience with different concrete finishing techniques
• Familiar with understanding layout and elevations for form boards
• Proficient in forming carpentry practices

• Outdoor job sites with exposure to various weather conditions.
• Standing, bending, and lifting heavy materials for extended periods.
