Position:
Communications Tower Climber Technician (Wireless) – Full‑time.

Location:

Florida and Southeast markets. Frequent travel and possible driving of company-owned vehicles may be required. Non‑local candidates must understand that Betacom does not cover relocation costs.

We seek a dependable and motivated team member with strong installation, repair, and maintenance skills in the telecommunications industry.

• Perform transmission line and antenna systems installation.
• Conduct repair and maintenance on lighting systems.
• Troubleshoot, replace, and maintain 4G components, coax, jumpers, TMA’s, connectors, and weatherproofing.
• Perform antenna and path alignments.
• Use Sunsight alignment tool and PIM/Sweep equipment.
• Assist with transmission line and antenna system installation, 4G component installation, and related tasks.

• Minimum 2–5 years of tower climbing experience in the telecommunications sector.
• High School Diploma or Equivalent (required).
• Valid Driver’s License (for positions that require driving).
• Computer literacy (required for positions that involve computer use).
• Strong written and oral communication skills.
• Ability to work effectively in a team environment.
• Experience with Sunsight Alignment tool.
• Experience and certification with both PIM and Sweep equipment (a plus).
• Experience performing transmission line and antenna systems installation, including 4G component installation and RRH’s (required).
• Experience with repairs and replacement of defective equipment.
• Com Train, OSHA 10, First Aid/CPR certifications.
