About the Position
We are currently seeking a creative, detail-oriented Graphic Designer to join our in-house marketing team at our Lorain, Ohio headquarters. This role is ideal for a designer who enjoys variety—balancing digital and print design projects that directly support our sales and marketing initiatives.
The Graphic Designer is responsible for creating visually compelling materials that promote Absolute Machine Tools’ brand, products, and services. Working closely with the Director of Marketing and the sales team, this role develops and maintains a consistent visual identity across all marketing channels. Strong organization and creative problem-solving are essential for success in this role.
Key Responsibilities
- Design and produce digital artwork for social media, email campaigns, promotions, web graphics, and other online platforms
- Create print materials such as brochures, catalogs, flyers, banners, and business cards
- Develop trade show and event graphics, including booth displays and signage
- Edit photos and videos for promotional use
- Manage in-house printing and finishing of catalogs, line cards, and other marketing materials, including cutting, folding, and packing materials for shipment
- Operate and maintain equipment such as printers, cutters, and laminators
- Perform basic website updates (text, images, links) to keep content accurate and up to date
- Coordinate multiple design projects simultaneously, ensuring deadlines and quality standards are met
- Collaborate with team members while working independently with minimal supervision
- Bring a positive, proactive attitude that reflects our employee-owner culture
- Related duties, as needed
Skills and Requirements
- Strong understanding of design for print and digital media
- Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite (InDesign, Illustrator, Photoshop, Acrobat Pro, Premiere Pro)
- Familiarity with Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook)
- Experience with CRM or task management systems (e.g., , Hub Spot, Zoho), preferred
- Knowledge of Google Ads platform, helpful
- Strong communication skills
Preferred Education and Experience
- Associate degree in Graphic Design, Visual Communications, or a related field
- 2+ years of professional graphic design experience (B2B or manufacturing environment is strongly preferred)
