This position is listed on behalf of a partner company, who manages all applications and next steps. Our partner is looking for an Art Director based in Germany.

This role is centered on shaping bold, high-impact creative work across branding, campaigns, and digital content for fast-moving clients in the restaurant and retail space. You will be responsible for developing and executing strong visual concepts that translate marketing strategy into compelling creative output across multiple channels. The position requires both conceptual thinking and hands‑on design execution, with ownership over projects from early ideation through final delivery.

You will collaborate closely with designers, writers, and strategists in a highly collaborative, feedback‑driven environment. The work is fast‑paced, requiring strong creative instincts, attention to detail, and the ability to consistently deliver high‑quality output under tight timelines. This is a distributed, remote‑friendly role where creativity, autonomy, and cultural awareness are key to success.

Accountabilities
  • Develop and execute strong creative concepts across campaigns, branding, social media, and multi‑channel marketing initiatives.
  • Translate marketing strategies and audience insights into clear visual directions, sketches, storyboards, and polished creative outputs.
  • Lead projects from concept development through final execution, ensuring creative quality and consistency across deliverables.
  • Present creative ideas and design directions confidently to internal teams and clients, incorporating feedback effectively.
  • Collaborate with designers, writers, and strategists to refine ideas and push creative boundaries.
  • Maintain a strong understanding of cultural trends, advertising practices, and platform‑specific creative requirements.
  • Contribute actively to brainstorming sessions and help elevate the overall creative output of the team.
Requirements
  • 3–6 years of experience in advertising, creative agencies, or brand‑focused design environments.
  • Strong conceptual thinking and advanced visual design skills with a polished creative portfolio.
  • High proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign, and related tools).
  • Comfortable using AI tools to support ideation, refinement, and creative production workflows.
  • Strong ability to manage time, prioritize tasks, and deliver high‑quality work under fast‑paced conditions.
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to articulate creative rationale clearly.
  • Self‑driven and comfortable working independently in a distributed, remote‑friendly environment.
  • Strong collaboration and brainstorming abilities in cross‑functional team settings.
  • Excellent problem‑solving mindset with strong attention to detail and execution quality.
