Teachers - Special Education​/Intervention Specialist; Kindergarten - 12th Grades

We are currently recruiting for teaching positions for the 2026/27 school year for anticipated hard-to-fill vacancies. • Elementary buildings (Preschool - 5th grades)
• Middle School buildings (6th - 8th grades)
• High School building (9th - 12th grades)

• Applicant must possess the appropriate grade-level and/or subject-area credentials:
  • A currently-valid teaching license or certificate issued by the Ohio State Board of Education for:
    • Intervention Specialist K-12 Mild/Moderate or Moderate/Intensive
    • Education of the Handicapped K-12
    • Other Intervention Specialist License appropriate to the grade level
  • Must meet the teacher standards as defined in the Every Student Succeeds Act (ESSA)

• All school employees must be able to successfully pass a BCI & FBI criminal background check (prior to employment; cost to applicant is $47.25)
• All school employees must be able to successfully pass a drug test (prior to employment; district covers cost)

• Assigned salary is based upon teacher salary grid:
  • Authorized years-of-teaching and/or military experience (verification required)
  • Educational level - degree level plus additional semester hours of graduate-level coursework (official transcripts required upon hire)
  • NOTE FOR REFERENCE:
    Bachelor's Degree + 0 semester hours with 0 years experience = $45,913.17 (based upon the 2025/26 School Year teacher salary grid)
