Work Days / Work Hours / Days per Year:Monday - Friday; 6.75 hours/day; 189 days per year (# of workdays for new-hires are pro-rated to date-of-hire)
INTERNAL BIDDERS- PLEASE NOTE:
Per Article 11, C, 5, of the OAPSE 120 Negotiated Agreement, because this vacancy is after the end of the first semester, the position will be posted and awarded in accordance with the Negotiated Agreement, but the EFFECTIVE DATE WILL BE THE START OF THE NEXT SCHOOL YEAR, 2026/27. If there are no internal bidders, the position can be filled with an external candidate.

Reports to:Building Administrator(s) and/or Executive Director for the Office of Exceptional Children or designee
Hourly Rate:$18.00 per hour (2025/26 school year pay rate) --->
NOTE:
OAPSE 120 members are eligible for an additional $1.00 per hour for Bachelor's degree --OR-- $2.00 per hour for Master's degree
- Must be a highly-qualified paraprofessional under the provisions of ESSA and ORC by evidencing one of the following requirements:
- Associate of Arts Degree or higher (official transcripts required)
- Two years of college totaling 48 or more semester hours (official transcripts required)
- Passing score of 456 or higher on the Para Pro Assessment (copy of Para Pro Assessment results)
- AND must have or be able to obtain an Educational Aid Permit through the Ohio Department of Education
