Regional Bilingual Substitute Aide (Lorain, OH)

Pay Rate: $15.20 Per Hour

Dedicated School Staffing is proud to support schools in Lorain County for the recruitment of substitute school based employment opportunities. We are looking for regional bilingual substitute educational aides that are committed to working 5 days per week at assigned school district locations. Regional substitutes will work closely with our office to fill important morning absences.

• High School Diploma or GED
• Clean criminal background
• Fluent in Spanish
• Committed to work 4 days per week
• Must work Mondays and Fridays

• Ohio Department of Education Educational Aide Permit ($25)
• FBI & BCI Background checks dated within 365 days of hire (Cost varies per agency)

• Present subject matter to students under the direction and guidance of the teacher
• Ensure that students are never left unattended in the classroom
• Keep students safe and engaged
• Exhibit proper classroom management techniques
• Understand building and classroom policy and procedures
• Document lesson plans
• Maintain student records/performance
• Follow the Individualized Education Program (IEP) of the student
• Lift, diaper and/or feed students
