Position:
Teachers - Special Education / Intervention Specialist (Kindergarten - 12th Grades)
- Elementary buildings (Preschool - 5th grades)
- Middle School buildings (6th - 8th grades)
- High School building (9th - 12th grades)
- applicant must possess the appropriate grade-level and/or subject-area credentials:
- a currently-valid teaching license or certificate issued by the Ohio State Board of Education for:
- Intervention Specialist K-12 Mild/Moderate or Moderate/Intensive,
- Education of the Handicapped K-12, or
- other Intervention Specialist License appropriate to the grade level, and
- must meet the teacher standards as defined in the Every Student Succeeds Act (ESSA)
- please scan and attach the license/certificate, or provide your State # in the "Credential" section of the online application form
- a currently-valid teaching license or certificate issued by the Ohio State Board of Education for:
- all school employees must be able to successfully pass a BCI & FBI criminal background check (prior to employment; cost to applicant is $47.25)
- all school employees must be able to successfully pass a drug test (prior to employment; district covers cost)
- positive reference checks
- Assigned salary is based upon teacher salary grid:
- authorized years-of-teaching and/or military experience (verification required), and
- educational level - degree level plus additional semester hours of graduate-level coursework (official transcripts required upon hire)
- NOTE FOR REFERENCE:
Bachelor's Degree + 0 semester hours with 0 years experience = $45,913.17 (based upon the 2025/26 School Year teacher salary grid)
