Position
Teachers — Math (9th‑12th Grades) at Lorain High School.
Qualifications and Requirements- Applicant must possess the appropriate grade-level and/or subject-area credentials:
- Currently-valid teaching license or certificate issued by the Ohio State Board of Education for Mathematics 7‑12 or Integrated Mathematics 7‑12, and
- Must meet the teacher standards as defined in the Every Student Succeeds Act (ESSA).

- All school employees must be able to successfully pass a BCI & FBI criminal background check prior to employment (cost to applicant is $47.25).
- All school employees must pass a drug test prior to employment (district covers cost).
- Positive reference checks.
- Assigned salary is based upon the teacher salary grid:
- Authorized years of teaching and/or military experience (verification required), and
- Educational level—degree level plus additional semester hours of graduate-level coursework (official transcripts required upon hire).
- NOTE FOR REFERENCE:
Bachelor's Degree + 0 semester hours with 0 years experience = $45,913.17 (based upon the 2025/26 School Year teacher salary grid).
