Work Days / Work Hours / Days per Year:
Monday
- Friday; 6.75 hours/day; 189 days per year ( # of workdays for new-hires are pro-rated to date-of-hire ).

Union / Classification: OAPSE 120 / Special Education Paraprofessionals

Reports to:

Building Administrator(s) and/or Executive Director for the Office of Exceptional Children or designee

Hourly Rate: $18.75 per hour

• A) must be a highly-qualified paraprofessional under the provisions of ESSA and ORC  by evidencing one of the following requirements
  :
  • 1) Associate of Arts Degree or higher (official transcripts required)
  • 2) two years of college totaling 48 or more semester hours (official transcripts required)
  • 3) passing score of 456 or higher on the Para Pro Assessment (copy of Para Pro Assessment results)
• B)
  AND must have or be able to obtain an Educational Aid Permit through the Ohio Department of Education
