We are currently recruiting for teaching positions for 2026/27 school year for anticipated hard-to-fill vacancies.
Position:Teachers - Math (9th - 12th Grades) at Lorain High School Qualifications/Requirements
- applicant must possess the appropriate grade-level and/or subject-area credentials:
- a currently-valid teaching license or certificate issued by the Ohio State Board of Education for Mathematics 7-12 or Integrated Mathematics 7-12, and
- must meet the teacher standards as defined in the Every Student Succeeds Act (ESSA)
- please scan and attach the license/certificate, or provide your State # in the "Credential" section of the online application form
- all school employees must be able to successfully pass a BCI & FBI criminal background check (prior to employment; cost to applicant is $47.25)
- all school employees must be able to successfully pass a drug test (prior to employment; district covers cost)
- positive reference checks
- Assigned salary is based uponteacher salary grid:
- authorized years-of-teaching and/or military experience (verification required)
- educational level - degree level plus additional semester hours of graduate-level coursework (official transcripts required upon hire)
- NOTE FOR REFERENCE:
Bachelor's Degree + 0 semester hours with 0 years experience = $45,913.17 (based upon the 2025/26 School Year teacher salary grid)
