Lab Client Service Representative – Lorain Hospital

Position Type: PRN "As Needed" – Weekday & Weekend Availability Required

The Lab Client Services supports overall laboratory operations by performing receptionist duties, patient and/or specimen collection and registration, including test ordering, billing, verifying medical necessity, and preparing results for mailing.

• Answers and initiates phone calls
• Supports physician office needs
• Investigates patient and client billing issues
• Processes specimens and add‑ons
• Registers patients
• Generates reports
• Maintains inventory levels and stocks supplies
• May perform specimen collection
