Lab Client Service Representative – Lorain Hospital
Position Type: PRN "As Needed" – Weekday & Weekend Availability Required
Summary of Primary Function / General Purpose of PositionThe Lab Client Services supports overall laboratory operations by performing receptionist duties, patient and/or specimen collection and registration, including test ordering, billing, verifying medical necessity, and preparing results for mailing.
Essential Job Functions- Answers and initiates phone calls
- Supports physician office needs
- Investigates patient and client billing issues
- Processes specimens and add‑ons
- Registers patients
- Generates reports
- Maintains inventory levels and stocks supplies
- May perform specimen collection
