Required Qualifications &

Experience:

• Active School Psychologist credential or eligibility for state licensure
• Masters or Specialist-level degree in School Psychology or a closely related field
• Experience conducting psychological and educational assessments
• Strong knowledge of Response to Intervention (RTI), IEP processes, and special education regulations
• Exceptional communication, collaboration, and problem-solving skills
• Ability to provide crisis intervention and consultation to staff, students, and families

Primary Responsibilities:

• Administer psychological assessments and interpret results to guide instruction and services
• Participate in multidisciplinary evaluation teams and contribute to eligibility decisions
• Develop/monitor Individualized Education Programs (IEPs) and Behavior Intervention Plans (BIPs)
• Provide direct counseling, behavioral support, and crisis intervention as needed
• Consult with teachers, administrators, and parents to support student development
• Offer professional development and resources for school staff regarding student mental health and behavioral strategies
