Part-Time position up to 20 hours a week with a need second shift availability. Typical shifts will be from 2pm-7pm.

QUALIFICATIONS:

Education: Minimum High School Diploma and three (3) years or more of relevant social services. Bachelor’s Degree in Social Work or similar field preferred.

Licensure: QMHS certification must be obtained before billing services for the Agency.

Experience: Experience working with youth with mental health or behavioral challenges preferred.

Other: Must be available to provide care during school hours, in the evenings and on weekends as needed. Must have a valid Ohio driver’s license, a working vehicle, and proof of auto insurance meeting state minimum requirements.

AGENCY SUMMARY
Applewood Centers is a private, nonprofit agency providing mental health services, social services and education to children, adolescents and families living in Cuyahoga and Lorain counties. Dedicated to addressing a variety of behavioral, emotional and learning problems, we provide a continuum of care from outpatient counseling to residential treatment.

POSITION SUMMARY
Under the supervision of the Mobile Response Stabilization Program Manager, the Licensed Shift Supervisor will take and assign crisis calls from the 24/7 hotline to have clinicians respond face to face (in person or via video conferencing) to high risk crisis situations within an hour to assess the youth and stabilize the family. There is no productivity expectation due to relying on crisis calls to be placed by the community.

JOB SUMMARY:
The Behavioral Health (BH) Respite Provider offers a short-term break for the caregivers of youth ages 8-17 who are enrolled in the Ohio Rise program.
