Patient Care Companion - Nursing Float Pool - Lorain Hospital

Mercy Health -  - Responsibilities:
Provide supportive patient care under the guidance of the Registered Nurse or designated health care professional, including personal care, hygiene, toileting, and mobility.;
Create a safe environment for patients and act as liaison between patient and nurse to report changes or concerns.;
Provide high-level customer service to patients, family, visitors, and staff; participate in hand-offs and report pertinent information upon arrival and departure.;
Assist with hand-off/report of pertinent information regarding patient and departmental needs; follow policies and guidelines in accordance with regulations.
