Talent Acquisition Specialist at GPAC in Huron County, OH.

Responsibilities
  • Source and identify qualified candidates through various channels, including job boards, social media, and networking events.
  • Conduct interviews and evaluate candidates based on their skills, experience, and cultural fit.
  • Collaborate with hiring managers to understand their needs and develop effective recruitment strategies.
  • Coordinate and schedule interviews, ensuring a smooth and efficient hiring process.
  • Build and maintain a strong talent pipeline for future hiring needs.
Essential Job Functions
  • Develop and implement innovative recruitment strategies to attract top talent.
  • Utilize the Linked In Recruiter platform to search and connect with potential candidates.
  • Review resumes and applications to shortlist qualified candidates.
  • Conduct phone and video screenings to assess candidates' qualifications.
  • Write compelling job descriptions and post them on relevant platforms.
Skills
  • 0 - 3+ years of experience in talent acquisition, recruiting, and/or human resources.
  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Human Resources, Psychology, Communication, or another related field.
  • Experience in the construction industry is a plus.
  • Exceptional communication (both oral and written) and interpersonal skills.
  • Strong organization skills and attention to detail.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Outlook, Teams, Word, Excel, and PowerPoint).
  • Working knowledge of the Linked In Recruiter platform is a plus.
  • Ability to thrive in a fast‑paced, deadline‑driven environment.
