Position Technology Coordinator

Full-Time/Part-Time Full-Time

Maintain the Agency's information technology infrastructure and provide on-going technical assistance in the operation of the Agency's computer information system. Serve as implementation coordinator for technology installations. Act as Agency's internal consultant regarding technology deployment and training.

• Perform a variety of software troubleshooting, configuring and administration of desktops, laptops and servers running Windows operating systems.
• Perform a variety of troubleshooting, configuring and administration of LANs and WLANs and work as a network administrator within a AD DS environment.
• Ability to troubleshoot, configure and repair a variety of physical hardware components, desktop printers, network devices and mobile devices.
• Escalate and prioritize IT related incidents and work projects using a Helpdesk ticket system.
• Assist and explain staff inquiries regarding software, hardware and network concerns.
• Remote into Agency locations and travel (if necessary) to different locations within Lorain County for repairs and installations of software and equipment.
• Advise departments on new or available technologies and equipment as requested.
• Order, track and inventory all IT-related equipment throughout the agency.
• Ability to work independently or work with outside IT vendors for large-scale projects.
• Good communication skills and documentation skills.
• Conduct annual technology assessments and strategic recommendation reviews as requested;
• Perform additional duties as assigned by supervisor.
• Abide by all applicable Agency rules and regulations.

Minimum of an Associates or higher degree required; within IT field or related degree. Minimum of 5 years related work experience preferred. Additional IT certifications will be considered. Valid driver's license, reliable transportation and liability insurance required. Working knowledge of MS Exchange and Windows Hyper-V preferred. Working knowledge of Spiceworks and Docuware preferred. CompTIA A+ and Network+ certifications preferred.
