Maintenance Technician

Banyan Living is a well‑respected leader in residential property management, dedicated to providing high‑quality luxury apartment homes in the greater Cleveland and Columbus metropolitan areas. We are seeking a reliable and skilled Maintenance Technician to join our team.

As a Maintenance Technician, you will preserve the quality of our communities by ensuring all maintenance duties are performed efficiently and effectively, maintaining safety and resident satisfaction through prompt professional service.

• Conduct regular inspections and maintenance of apartment facilities to ensure high standards are met
• Respond swiftly to resident maintenance requests and troubleshoot issues as needed
• Perform repairs related to plumbing, electrical systems, heating, and air conditioning
• Assist in making ready apartments for new residents, ensuring they are clean and well‑maintained
• Maintain the property grounds and surrounding areas, including landscaping and snow removal
• Document maintenance activities and inventory parts and supplies accurately
• Maintain compliance with safety regulations and company policies while performing maintenance tasks

• High school diploma or equivalent
• 1‑3 years of experience in property maintenance or a related field
• Basic knowledge of plumbing, electrical systems, HVAC, and general maintenance procedures
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Excellent problem‑solving abilities and a proactive attitude
• Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and perform physical tasks
• Willingness to work on‑call shifts and respond to emergencies as needed
