Shift Manager in Training

This position is for a Shift Manager in Training. Ideal candidates should have previous Manager experience. A background in quick service restaurants is strongly desired, or experience in hospitality or retail. You must be 18 years or older for this position.

Managers lead shifts every week, making sure customers get a fast, accurate, friendly experience every visit. A Shift Manager provides leadership to crew and other managers during a shift to ensure great Quality, Service and Cleanliness to customers.

Shift Managers perform a variety of tasks, which include but are

not limited to:

* Planning for each shift,

* Monitoring performance during the shift

* Taking action to ensure the team meets McDonald's standards,

* Monitoring safety, security, and profitability,

* Communicating with other Shift Managers and crew,

* Motivating, delegating, and coaching the team

* Completing assigned cleanliness tasks

* Completing assigned planned maintenance tasks.

As a Shift Manager, you may be responsible for:

This role is vital to the operations within the restaurant because

you'll:

* Lead the experience:
Oversee and lead crew and other managers on your shift

* Inspire and Empower:
Provide encouraging leadership for crew and managers to provide an outstanding guest experience

* Understand that teamwork is key:
Supervise and lead food safety and cleanliness measures to meet McDonald's standards

* Take action first:
Take measures around safety, security, inventory, and profitability

To be a successful Shift Manager, you'll need:

Previous managerial experience is required, ideally within a restaurant, retail or hospitality environment.
