Shift Availability: 15-25 hours – availability on weekends strongly preferred
Hourly Pay Rate: $15.00/hr + tips

About the Role: As a Retail Sales Associate at Curaleaf, you’ll be the face of our brand and the go-to expert for customers, helping them explore our cannabis products and delivering top-tier service with every interaction.
What You’ll Do:
- Greet and assist all guests in a warm, professional manner to ensure an exceptional customer experience.
- Build strong connections with customers, ask thoughtful questions, and offer personalized product advice.
- Address concerns professionally and resolve issues to ensure customer satisfaction.
- Encourage loyalty by signing guests up for rewards programs.
- Work with the team to maintain a respectful, inclusive, and upbeat atmosphere.
- Open and close the store, handle cash, and follow procedures and regulations.
- Check IDs, update customer profiles, and process transactions accurately.
- Keep the store clean, organized, and fully stocked from the sales floor to the backroom.
- Assist with inventory tasks, restocking, fulfilling online orders, and product counting.
- Meet daily sales goals by upselling, building trust, and using product knowledge.
- Highlight deals and complementary items at checkout to boost satisfaction.
- Stay on top of promotions and product updates to provide a seamless experience.
- Be adaptable in a fast-paced retail environment and take on extra duties as needed.
What You’ll Bring:
- A high school diploma or GED.
- At least 6 months of experience in a customer-facing or sales role focused on service and satisfaction.
- At least 6 months of experience using point-of-sale (POS) systems and handling cash accurately.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced, compliance-driven environment.
- Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, holidays, and occasional overnights.
- Excellent communication skills to connect with customers and team members.
- Strong multitasking abilities and the agility to shift priorities as needed.
- Comfort with technology and willingness to learn new tools for daily operations and engagement.
- Solid time management and organizational skills.
- Effective de-escalation techniques and a calm, solution-oriented approach to customer concerns.
- Basic math and computer proficiency to support transactions and reporting.
- Positive, proactive mindset and initiative with a team-first attitude.
- Ability to build rapport and maintain lasting customer relationships.
- Collaborative spirit and willingness to work well within a team.
Even Better If You Have:
- Background in a sales role with KPI tracking and meeting sales targets.
- Familiarity with e-commerce systems and order fulfillment processes.
- Experience in a regulated retail setting.
Physical Requirements:
Regularly stand for extended periods; walk, talk, hear, stoop, kneel, crouch or crawl; lift up to 25 pounds (occasional lifting up to 50 pounds); close vision required. Allergens may be present; ability to work in a fast-changing environment is needed.
