Front End Checkout associates run our registers. They smile, greet and thank customers, ring up items, process payments, and keep a positive attitude. They may need to stand for long periods. For complete job duties and requirements, see the Job Description.

You play a major role in how our customers feel when they leave the store. As the first, last, or only associate a customer may interact with, it’s important to smile, greet, and thank every customer.

The pace can be intense, especially in the evenings, weekends, and holiday seasons. You may need to juggle several tasks in a short time while helping customers: scan items, explain prices, bag items, count cash back, and keep your area clean.

This role requires a positive attitude, the ability to multi‑task, and a passion for customer service.

• Smile, greet, and thank customers with a positive attitude
• Stand for long periods while checking out customers quickly and accurately
• Keep your area clean and presentable
• Answer customer questions and help with their needs
• Assist associates across the store as needed

• Ensure customers have a great first and last impression
• Gather carts from the parking lot
• Operate equipment to move carts from the parking lot to inside the store
• Clean restrooms, sales floor, and parking lot as needed
• Maintain a positive attitude in all weather conditions

Additional compensation includes annual or quarterly performance incentives. Premiums may be paid in amounts ranging from $0.35 per hour to $3.00 per hour in specific circumstances, based on schedule, facility, season, or specific work performed. Multiple premiums may apply if criteria are met.
