The Hardscape Team Member role is ideal for individuals who enjoy working outdoors, building lasting outdoor spaces, and being part of a supportive, skilled team.
Team members contribute to the creation of patios, retaining walls, and custom outdoor living features, working alongside experienced professionals and using industry-standard equipment.
- Install paver patios, walkways, retaining walls, and outdoor living spaces according to project specifications.
- Assist with site preparation, including excavation, grading, and base installation.
- Operate landscape and construction equipment such as skid steers, mini excavators, plate compactors, cut‑off saws, and other power tools.
- Maintain clean and organized job sites, ensuring safety and efficiency throughout each project.
- Load, secure, transport, and maintain trucks, trailers, and equipment as needed.
- Perform routine equipment cleaning and basic maintenance.
- Follow all safety procedures and use personal protective equipment appropriately.
- Collaborate with the Team Leader and other crew members to complete projects on time and to company standards.
- Support landscape installation and maintenance tasks as required.
- Assist with snow and ice management during winter months.
- Previous experience in hardscape, landscape, construction, or outdoor labor is preferred but not required.
- Willingness to learn new skills and grow within the company.
- Strong work ethic, reliability, and ability to work effectively as part of a team.
- Professional communication skills and a positive attitude when interacting with customers and coworkers.
- Valid driver's license and ability to meet company insurance requirements.
- Ability to pass a background and drug screening.
- Physical ability to work outdoors in various weather conditions, lift up to 70 pounds, and perform physically demanding tasks for extended periods.
- Experience operating skid steers, mini excavators, or similar equipment is a plus.
- Experience installing pavers, retaining walls, or outdoor living spaces is preferred.
- CDL or willingness to obtain a CDL is a plus.
- Industry certifications or willingness to pursue training are advantageous.
