A Delivery Driver is responsible for the delivery of product to assigned customers and territories. The candidate must have strong interpersonal skills, ability to work well in small groups, and thrive in a fast‑paced beverage alcohol environment.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities- Perform pre‑trip and post‑trip inspections on a daily basis.
- Deliver products safely and efficiently.
- Communicate effectively and respectfully with customers and associates.
- Assist the warehouse as needed.
- Understand and follow safety rules, operations and maintenance instructions, and procedural manuals.
- Secure company property at all times, including cash, checks, and company vehicle.
- Maintain a clean and effective workplace.
- Perform additional duties as assigned by the Operations Manager.
- Valid standard Driver’s license; if holding a CDL, must pass a DOT physical.
- Pass drug screening and background checks.
- Willingness to work flexible shifts if needed.
- Strong customer service skills and a solid understanding of DOT rules and regulations.
- Positive, winning attitude and excellent attendance record.
- Strong work ethic and ability to work in a fast‑paced environment.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Valid insurance coverage as required by the company.
- Position operates in a warehouse environment; hours will vary by shift.
- Regular, consistent attendance is required.
- Dress code may vary by shift and will be communicated by the Operations Manager.
- Must be able to move or lift up to 165 lbs on occasion and handle 25+ lbs repetitively throughout the shift.
- Job duties require standing, balancing, walking, climbing stairs, sitting, using hands and arms, talking, hearing, and specific vision abilities.
