Job Title:
Administrative Assistant / Receptionist Responsibilities
- Answer and route incoming phone calls in a professional and timely manner.
- Monitor and respond to emails promptly, ensuring clear and courteous communication.
- Organize, scan, and file documents both electronically and physically to maintain an orderly filing system.
- Maintain accurate records and update files regularly to ensure information is current and accessible.
- Provide general administrative support to the team, including scheduling, correspondence, and other office tasks as needed.
- Assist with data entry and basic reporting tasks to support business operations.
- Ensure the office environment remains organized, tidy, and efficient to support daily activities.
- 1+ year of administrative, customer service, or office support experience preferred.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office, including Outlook and Word.
- Ability to manage and maintain filing systems and organize documents effectively.
- Demonstrated customer service mindset with a professional and courteous demeanor.
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy in data entry and record keeping.
- Ability to prioritize tasks and manage time effectively in a busy office environment.
This is an on-site position with a schedule of Monday through Friday, 8:00 AM to 4:00 PM.
Job Type & LocationThis is a Contract to Hire position based out of Lorton, VA.
Pay And BenefitsThe pay range for this position is $18.00 - $20.00/hr.
