Receptionist (Part-Time)
Addison Group is partnering with a mission-driven nonprofit organization seeking a friendly and dependable Receptionist to support daily front desk operations. This is an excellent opportunity for someone who enjoys creating a welcoming environment, providing outstanding customer service, and interacting with volunteers and visitors.
The Receptionist serves as the first point of contact for visitors and volunteers, helping ensure daily operations run smoothly. This role includes greeting guests, managing front desk communications, assisting with volunteer check-in, and completing light administrative tasks. The ideal candidate is organized, approachable, and thrives in a people-focused environment.
- Welcome volunteers and visitors in a professional and friendly manner.
- Manage front desk check-in and sign-in processes.
- Answer incoming phone calls and respond to email inquiries.
- Provide directions and general information to guests and volunteers.
- Assist with basic administrative and data entry tasks.
- Maintain an organized and welcoming reception area.
- Support the volunteer experience by providing exceptional customer service.
- Communicate effectively with staff to ensure smooth daily operations.
- At least 1 year of receptionist, front desk, or customer service experience.
- Previous experience working with volunteers is a plus.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
- Excellent organizational and multitasking abilities.
- Friendly, professional demeanor with a customer-focused mindset.
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
