Systems Engineering Technical Lead
As a Systems and Digital Engineer on our team, you will develop advanced systems across multiple defense domains, supporting systems engineering and digital engineering efforts, including Model-Based Systems Engineering (MBSE) activities. You will collaborate with a talented engineering team to shape growth, ensure mission success, and deliver innovative solutions that evolve with emerging technologies.
Key Responsibilities- Perform systems engineering analysis, requirements capture, architecture development, and system documentation for DoD or government systems.
- Create and integrate interdisciplinary digital models, applying leading‑edge principles and industry best practices.
- Lead Model‑Based Systems Engineering work, including development of models, tests, and documentation using tools such as Cameo, Magic Draw, and DOORS.
- Develop test strategies, plans, and reports, and participate in test execution and analysis.
- Apply Agile methodologies and tools (Jira, Confluence) to drive project progress and cross‑functional collaboration.
- Work confidently with senior officials and independently in a fast‑paced environment.
- Minimum 5years of experience performing systems engineering in the defense industry.
- Proficiency in requirements capture, architecture development, and system documentation for DoD or government systems.
- Experience with digital engineering tools such as Cameo or Magic Draw and DOORS.
- Hands‑on experience with Agile tools (Jira, Confluence) and test strategy development.
- Knowledge of MBSE concepts and SysML for requirements, specifications, interface control documents, and system architecture.
- Ability to obtain and maintain a Secret clearance.
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Science, or Technology.
- Experience with Dassault 3DS, IBM DOORS, Model Center, Team Center, MATLAB, STK, and CAD tools.
- Familiarity with Modular Open Systems Approach (MOSA) and Sensor Open Systems Architecture (SOSA) standards.
- Experience in DoD aerospace program acquisition offices and translating system requirements into design.
- Knowledge of DoD Architecture Framework (DoDAF).
- Excellent verbal and written communication and presentation skills.
- Master’s degree in Engineering.
- Certifications:
INCOSE Associate Systems Engineering Professional (ASEP) or SysML OMG Certified Systems Modeling Professional (OCSMP).
- Applicants selected will be subject to a security investigation and may need to meet eligibility requirements for access to classified information.
- Applicants must have or be able to obtain a Secret clearance.
