Radio Frequency Engineer

Leidos is seeking a Radio Frequency/Spectrum Engineer to design, model, and optimize RF systems that support mission-critical government and commercial programs. In this role, you will perform spectrum analysis, interference mitigation, link budgets, and propagation modeling for complex wireless, satcom, and radar systems. You will develop technical documentation, support regulatory coordination, and collaborate with multidisciplinary engineering and cybersecurity teams. Responsibilities

• Design and analyze RF and spectrum-dependent systems for government and commercial projects.
• Perform spectrum analysis, interference studies, and propagation modeling to optimize performance.
• Develop and maintain link budgets, coverage maps, and technical documentation.
• Support regulatory coordination and compliance with FCC, NTIA, and related standards.
• Collaborate with cross-functional engineering, cyber, and program teams to integrate RF solutions.
• Conduct lab and field measurements, testing, and troubleshooting of RF systems.
• Provide technical input to proposals, design reviews, and customer briefings.
• Contribute to continuous improvement and innovation within RF and spectrum engineering practices.
