Are you a skilled cloud professional with expertise in Microsoft Azure and secure enclave environments? Join our team as a Senior Microsoft Azure Enclave Administrator and play a critical role in managing and securing our cloud infrastructure.
Opportunity:
VSO is seeking an experienced Senior Microsoft Azure Enclave Administrator to join our team in Lorton, Virginia. This role is ideal for professionals with a strong background in cloud administration, enclave environments, and security compliance.
Responsibilities:
- Design, implement, and manage secure enclave environments within Microsoft Azure.
- Ensure the stability, performance, and security of Azure enclave systems.
- Monitor and maintain Azure infrastructure, addressing performance issues and optimizing cloud resources.
- Implement security controls and ensure compliance with relevant government and industry regulations.
- Manage identity and access management (IAM) policies, ensuring least privilege access across enclave systems.
- Develop and maintain cloud infrastructure as code (IaC) using tools like ARM templates, Terraform, or Bicep.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop and enhance cloud solutions.
- Troubleshoot complex issues within Azure environments, providing escalation support as needed.
- Document configurations, procedures, and troubleshooting processes.
- Participate in security audits and contribute to risk assessments.
- Bachelor’s degree in computer science, information technology, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
- 8+ years of experience in cloud administration, with a focus on Microsoft Azure.
- Experience working in secure enclave environments and familiarity with security compliance frameworks (e.g., NIST, FedRAMP, RMF).
- Strong knowledge of Azure services, including Azure Virtual Machines, Azure Active Directory, Azure Security Center, and Azure Networking.
- Hands-on experience with Infrastructure as Code (IaC) tools like Terraform, ARM templates, or Bicep.
- Proficiency in Power Shell and other scripting languages.
- Understanding of networking principles, VPNs, firewalls, and secure connectivity.
- Azure certifications such as AZ-104, AZ-500, or equivalent are highly desirable.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Strong communication and documentation skills.
- Must be within driving distance of Lorton, VA, or willing to relocate (Relocation Assistance Package Available).
- Must be willing to work onsite.
- Must have an active Top Secret (TS) security clearance.
- Must meet DoD 8570 IAT Level II certification requirements (e.g., Security+ CE, CCNA Security, etc.).
