Embedded Security Technician

Securitas Technology is seeking an Experienced Embedded Security Technician to install, configure, and maintain advanced electronic security and life safety systems for commercial and enterprise clients. You will work with cutting-edge access control, intrusion, and video solutions, perform troubleshooting and system integrations, and support cybersecurity best practices. Collaborating with cross-functional teams, you will ensure reliable, code-compliant protection of customer facilities while contributing to continuous improvement in a culture focused on safety, integrity, and innovation.

Responsibilities

• Install, configure, and service embedded electronic security systems including access control, intrusion, and video surveillance
• Perform system testing, troubleshooting, and root-cause analysis on hardware, firmware, and networked devices
• Integrate security devices with customer IT networks following cybersecurity and data protection best practices
• Read and interpret technical drawings, wiring diagrams, and manufacturer documentation
• Document configurations, service activities, and test results accurately in service and ticketing systems
• Collaborate with engineering, project management, and monitoring teams to deliver end-to-end solutions
• Provide technical guidance to junior technicians and support customer training on system use
• Adhere to safety, quality, and regulatory standards at customer job sites and in lab environments
