Merchandiser is responsible for stocking shelves, coolers and building displays. The position also follows up after deliveries are made by our drivers and services shelves from the liquor department storage areas. Candidates may also be responsible for achieving sales objectives, territory management, selling current and new products, promotions, in‑store tastings, and servicing accounts. This role will require holiday and weekend hours.

• Travel throughout assigned territory to service accounts.
• Check quantities of goods on display, cold box placements, in‑stock and service the accounts.
• Fill shelves from displays and back stock to ensure out‑of‑stock items are minimized.
• Develop and maintain relationships with customers.
• Communicate with Sales Consultants regarding changes in buyer’s preferences, out‑of‑stock inventory, oversight in shelf space and any concerns or situations encountered during business hours.
• Build and develop trust and a strong working relationship with the retailer by upholding Johnson Brothers corporate values, having excellent customer service and a “can‑do” attitude.
• Perform other work‑related tasks and special projects as assigned.

• Work experience in the liquor industry, such as bartender, wait staff, liquor store experience, etc. (a plus)
• High School Diploma.
• Goal and results oriented.
• Ability to work independently, meet deadlines and prioritize work.
• Competitive, self‑motivated and customer‑service oriented.
• Professional written and oral communication skills a must.
• Have reliable transportation with valid insurance.
• Good driving record.
• Ability to lift to 50‑pound cases, sometimes repeatedly.
• Must live in or near area of territory for best servicing accounts.
• Candidate must be able to pass criminal background and MVR checks.
