Merchandiser, Club Team-Northern VA

Merchandiser is responsible for stocking shelves, coolers, and building displays. The position follows up after deliveries by drivers and services shelves from the liquor department storage areas, as well as achieving sales objectives, territory management, selling current and new products, promotions, in‑store tastings, and servicing accounts. The role requires holiday and weekend hours.

• Travel throughout the assigned territory to service accounts.
• Check quantities of goods on display, cold box placements, and in‑stock levels.
• Fill shelves from displays and back stock to minimize out‑of‑stock items.
• Develop and maintain relationships with customers.
• Communicate with Sales Consultants about buyer preferences, out‑of‑stock inventory, shelf‑space oversight, and any concerns encountered during business hours.
• Build trust and a strong working relationship with retailers by upholding Johnson Brothers corporate values, providing excellent customer service, and maintaining a "can‑do" attitude.
• Perform other work‑related tasks and special projects as assigned.

• Work experience in the liquor industry (e.g., bartender, wait staff, liquor store) is a plus.
• High School Diploma.
• Goal‑ and results‑oriented; able to work independently, meet deadlines, and prioritize work.
• Competitive, self‑motivated, and customer‑service focused.
• Professional written and oral communication skills are a must.
• Reliable transportation with valid insurance and a good driving record.
• Ability to lift 50‑pound cases, sometimes repeatedly.
• Must live in or near the territory for optimal servicing of accounts.
• Candidate must pass a criminal background check and a motor‑vehicle record review.
