Southern Home Services is a residential HVAC, Plumbing and Electrical company operating across the United States. We are seeking a dynamic HVAC Install Helper to join our team and support our installation, upgrade, and replacement projects in residential properties.

• Assist the HVAC Lead Install Technician with installation, upgrades, and replacements of HVAC systems.
• Conduct thorough checks of all installation aspects to prevent callbacks and ensure optimal performance.
• Adhere to appliance standards and Occupational Health and Safety regulations.
• Maintain tools, parts, and vehicle in a clean, organized manner.
• Use floor savers and drop cloths to protect client property and keep the work area neat.
• Meet scheduled appointments and on call hours, ensuring timely job completion.
• Perform work in tight spaces (attics, crawl spaces) and in various weather conditions, including extreme heat and cold.
• Handle physical tasks such as lifting, bending, pushing, and moving objects weighing over 50 pounds.
• Work safely on scaffolds and ladders at various heights.
• Complete additional duties as assigned.

• Valid driver’s license with at least three years of driving experience.
• Basic computer skills with PC, MS Office, phones, and tablets.
• Ability to read and write effectively for clear communication.

• EPA certification (will provide assistance if not already certified).
• Bilingual candidates encouraged;
  Spanish-speaking support available.

• Lifting 50 pounds regularly and up to 100 pounds occasionally.
• Climbing ladders, accessing attics, navigating tight spaces; driving, entering crawlspaces; pushing, carrying, pulling, using hand tools, performing fine detail work.
• Ability to stand, walk, sit, talk, or hear both in person and by telephone.
• Use hands to handle or feel objects or controls; reach with hands and arms; regularly stoop, kneel, bend, crouch.
• Work in various environments, including indoor/outdoor, attics, crawlspaces; exposure to extreme temperatures and adverse weather conditions.
