Utility Worker - Huntington
Transdev in Fairfax County is hiring a Utility Worker. The role involves performing basic vehicle servicing duties and supporting customer service-oriented operations.
Key Responsibilities- Maintain cleanliness of fleet vehicles – interior and exterior
- Drive, maneuver, and park vehicles safely
- Fuel buses, replenish fluids, and log and record all fluid usage
- Download drive camera footage and probe fare boxes
- Perform light maintenance in shop areas, fueling stations, and related facilities
- Report maintenance issues to supervisor
- Perform other duties as required
- High School Diploma or equivalent
- Valid driver’s license for a minimum of 3 years
- Preference for CDL A or B with Passenger endorsement
- Subject to DOT drug testing and physical exam as applicable; DOT Regulation 49 CFR Part 40 does not authorize the use of Schedule I drugs, including cannabis, for any reason
- Must be able to work shifts or flexible schedules as needed
- Work may involve long periods of sitting, typing, or looking at a computer screen
- Work environment will be a combination of indoor and outdoor settings
- Starting pay at $20.07 per hour
- Vacation and sick time after 1 year
- Medical, dental & vision after 90 calendar days of employment for full-time employees, life insurance, 401(k) retirement benefits
- Position subject to collective bargaining agreement
