Delivery Driver – Non‑CDL, Lorton, VA. Pay rate: $25–$27 per hour.

• Operate trucks safely, in compliance with company rules, applicable laws and regulations.
• Deliver Hajoca merchandise to job sites, customer and vendor facilities, other Hajoca or wholesaler locations.
• Load the truck with merchandise, secure the load, ensure required equipment for unloading is available.
• Understand shipping documents, provide accurate directions to destinations.
• Review documentation and ensure order accuracy.
• Unload merchandise, place it in requested location, obtain legible signatures per policy.
• Collect and secure outstanding payments for cash sales before releasing material.
• Resolve shipping discrepancies with customers on site.
• Load truck at other locations with merchandise, including pickups from vendors, returns and from other wholesalers.
• Provide sales leads by noting prospective customer names discovered during deliveries.
• Inspect truck and required parts for safe operating condition before departure, keep truck clean.
• Advise management of mechanical problems; complete Daily Vehicle Inspection Report for vehicles ≥10,001 lbs. if defect found.
• At end of day, remove keys and store them in approved location.
• Complete required safety and compliance training programs.
• Perform other reasonably related duties as assigned.

Non‑CDL driver over 10,000 lbs.

Qualifications:

• At least 21 years old.
• Valid driver’s license.
• Driving record qualifies as Authorized Driver per company policy.
• Pass a Department of Transportation physical exam before starting and every two years.
• Minimum two (2) years of box truck driving experience.
• Reliable transportation to and from work location and training site.

Ideal candidate will also:

• Know the laws, rules and regulations governing driver operations, including DOT regulations.
• Apply safety precautions in a warehouse and material handling environment.
• Build and maintain positive relationships with customers, vendors and coworkers.
• Remain calm and effective in stressful or emergency situations.
• Learn to operate warehouse material‑handling equipment.
• Learn and use computer‑related systems used in the delivery process.
• Read, write, speak and understand English.
• Perform basic arithmetic.
