About the Role

We are looking for an organized, detail‑oriented Purchasing Assistant to support our Procurement Manager and the broader purchasing function across our operating companies. This is an excellent opportunity for someone who enjoys working with vendors, numbers, and projects, and who thrives in a fast‑paced office environment where accuracy and follow‑through matter.

What You'll Do
  • Process and track vendor credit applications and keep vendor records (W‑9s, COIs, terms, contacts) up to date.
  • Review fuel invoices, fuel card statements, and usage data; help identify pricing trends and discrepancies.
  • Support purchasing projects – sourcing, vendor comparisons, PO processing, and cost‑savings initiatives.
  • Partner with Accounts Payable on invoice clean‑up, statement reconciliations, and PO/invoice matching.
  • Reconcile company credit card statements, code charges, and maintain the cardholder log.
  • Process inter‑company PPE purchases, track inventory and spend, and ensure accurate chargebacks.
  • Provide day‑to‑day purchasing support and back‑up coverage as needed.
What We're Looking For
  • 2+ years of experience in purchasing, procurement, AP, or a related administrative/accounting role.
  • Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in Business, Accounting, Supply Chain, or a related field preferred.
  • Strong Excel skills (formulas, pivot tables); comfortable working in an ERP system.
  • Excellent attention to detail, organization, and follow‑through.

  • Competitive hourly pay: $25 – $30/hour, depending on experience.
