What You'll Do

+ Prepare and record journal entries to ensure accurate and timely financial reporting.

+ Maintain and analyze general ledger accounts and financial transactions.

+ Support monthly, quarterly, and annual close processes.

+ Perform balance sheet reconciliations and investigate account variances.

+ Assist with financial reporting, account analysis, and management reporting.

+ Support sales tax, corporate tax, and compliance-related accounting activities.

+ Review financial records and documentation to ensure compliance with accounting policies and procedures.

+ Assist with audit preparation and provide supporting schedules and documentation.

+ Utilize accounting systems and Excel to organize data and improve reporting accuracy.

+ Collaborate with departments throughout the organization to support financial operations and decision-making.

+ Participate in process improvement initiatives that enhance efficiency and strengthen internal controls.

What We're Looking For

+ Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field preferred.

+ 2+ years of accounting experience.

+ Strong understanding of general ledger accounting, reconciliations, and month-end close.

+ Experience preparing journal entries and financial schedules.

+ Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and accounting software.

+ Strong analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills.

+ Excellent attention to detail and commitment to accuracy.

+ Ability to work independently while contributing to a collaborative team environment.

Requirements - Prior experience in bookkeeping or accounting in a detail-oriented business environment.

- Working knowledge of Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP) and their practical application.

- Strong understanding of debits, credits, and the flow of transactions through the accounting cycle.

- Proficiency with accounting software, Microsoft Excel, and other finance-related applications.

- Experience with journal entries, general ledger maintenance, reconciliations, and month-end close activities.

- Ability to demonstrate reliability, dependability, and a collaborative approach in day-to-day work.

- Service-oriented mindset with strong attention to accuracy and responsiveness.

- Ability to meet pre-employment screening requirements for the position.
