Plant Manager

Cal Portland, a leader in the construction material sector, seeks a dedicated Ready Mix Plant Manager to oversee operations at one of our key facilities. This position is pivotal in maintaining our commitment to sustainability and excellence in producing high-quality concrete products. The successful candidate will manage all aspects of the plant 's operations to ensure efficient production, compliance with safety standards, and the implementation of innovative production methodologies.

• Oversee daily operations of the ready mix concrete plant.
• Ensure compliance with all health and safety regulations.
• Manage and develop plant staff, fostering a positive and proactive work environment.
• Optimize production processes to ensure efficiency and sustainability.
• Liaise with sales and distribution teams to synchronize production and delivery schedules.
• Implement cost-control measures.
• Regularly inspect and maintain plant equipment to ensure operational functionality.
• Prepare monthly reports on plant performance, budgeting, and production statistics.
• Collaborate with the R&D team to develop new product lines or improve existing ones.
• Proven leadership and managerial skills.
• Strong knowledge of ready mix concrete production and machinery.
• Proficiency in budgeting and cost management.
• Ability to work collaboratively across departments.
• Solid understanding of health and safety regulations.
