** What You Will Do*

The Readiness and Training - Operational and Nuclear Safety Training (RT-ONST) group is seeking a customer-focused Training Coordinator to support the Laboratory's Nuclear Criticality Safety (NCS) training program.

In this role, you will provide on-site administrative support for day-to-day training operations by assisting customers, coordinating training activities, maintaining training records, and supporting instructors and students. This position is ideal for someone who is organized, detail-oriented, enjoys working with people, and takes pride in delivering excellent customer service.

** Key Responsibilities*
* + Serve as a primary point of contact for Nuclear Criticality Safety training activities.

+ Respond to customer inquiries by phone, email, and in person.

+ Coordinate course registration, scheduling, and classroom logistics.

+ Proctor training sessions and examinations in accordance with Laboratory procedures.

+ Utilize the Laboratory Learning Management System (LMS) to support student enrollment, training records, and customer requests.

+ Maintain accurate training records while protecting sensitive information and Personally Identifiable Information (PII).

+ Prepare training materials, rosters, and other documentation needed to support course delivery.

+ Work collaboratively with instructors and training staff to ensure efficient training operations.

+ Perform other administrative and program support duties as assigned.

** The work location for this position is onsite and located in Los Alamos, NM. All work locations are at the discretion of management.

** Position commitment:
** Regular appointment employees are required to serve a period of continuous service in their current position in order to be eligible to apply for posted jobs throughout the Laboratory. If an employee has not served the time required, they may only apply for Laboratory jobs with the documented approval of their Division Leader. The position commitment for this position Is 1 year.
