Project Controls

Overview

Senior-Level Engineer (P6) responsible for cost estimating, control and project management functions, with focus on Earned Value Management System (EVMS) and Project Controls System. Must have Q clearance or ability to obtain it and experience with Cobra administration backend software.

• Support the EVMS and Project Controls System.
• Perform cost estimating, analysis, and control activities.
• Develop, maintain, and monitor schedules.
• Provide technical direction for cost engineering and planning/scheduling activities.
• Identify trends for management attention.
• Coordinate activities of other personnel and provide leadership.
• Ensure project work is completed on schedule and within budget.
• Prepare and deliver detailed status reports and corrective actions.

• P6 Experience.
• Q Clearance (or ability to obtain) if not current.
• Cobra administration experience with backend software.
• Minimum of eight years of related experience or equivalent education and experience.
• Bachelor’s degree required; postgraduate coursework desirable.
• Expertise in cost engineering, planning/scheduling, and EVMS.
• Advanced knowledge of project controls, budgets, and engineering principles.
• Strong oral and written communication skills.
• Proficiency with personal computer operating systems and multiple discipline-specific software applications.
• Leadership and supervision skills, including personnel administration and training.
