Overview
Environmental Licensing Project Manager to join our team. The Environmental Licensing Project Manager will lead and coordinate the licensing and environmental application for nuclear facilities, materials, waste or decommissioning projects.

Responsibilities:
- Serve as the Project Manager for one or more licensing applications.
- Serve as the Technical Lead for all environmental reports and license applications.
- Coordinate technical and environmental review inputs from multiple disciplines (environmental science, health physics, engineering, transportation, security) and ensure integration and timeliness of deliverables.
- Apply engineering knowledge and technology to identify, solve, or alleviate environmental problems.
- Collaborate with other regulatory compliance team members to review and revise written work products.
- Ensure regulatory compliance: review of applications, response to staff questions, and Request for Additional Information (RAIs).
- Track progress schedule, application milestones, and risk mitigation plans.
- Complete field work to gather necessary information to develop inspection reports, permit applications, or compliance plans.
- Coordinate scheduling to meet client s regulatory compliance deadlines.
- Analyze data, prepare client reports, and upload results into state and federal online reporting systems.
- Review and interpret federal, state, and local regulations to apply to a range of client s operations, equipment, and circumstances.
- Respond to requests from clients or regulators on data or information provided in communications, reports, etc.
Requirements:
- BS in Engineering, Science, or Business and Management, 10 years of experience in licensing/regulatory area, or MS with 5 years experience.
- 10 years of experience in licensing/regulatory area.
- Knowledge of environmental regulations CERCLA and RCRA.
- Successful drug screening.
- Must be eligible to obtain and maintain a security or clearance badge.
Preferred Qualifications:
- BA/BS Degree in a technical discipline, plus 18 years plus of direct experience required, or an MS with 15 years experience.
- Experience with CERCLA, NEPA, and NRC Regulations.
- Knowledge of nuclear facilities.
- Environmental field work remediation experience.
- Experience with license applications.
Location/Work Arrangement:
- Hybrid position based at the BGS corporate office, located in Oak Ridge, Tennessee.
- Schedule is full-time, Monday - Friday 40-hour week.
