* ** The Materials Synthesis and Integrated Devices Group (MPA-11) is seeking post-bac candidates to perform engineering, fabrication, and testing of mechanical and electrochemical systems, including components and subsystems for fuel cells, electrolyzers, batteries, and other energy technologies. The position will provide opportunities to learn about mechanical and electrochemical systems and provide exposure to broader research opportunities in the national laboratories.*

* ** Fabrication and testing of fuel cells, electrolyzers, and batteries*
* ** Design, fabrication, and testing of components and parts*
* ** Microfabrication and thin film deposition*
* ** Programming in Python for automation of tasks and data analysis*

Job Requirements:

* ** Candidates must have a strong background in one or more of the following areas:*

Experience:

** Must have earned a Bachelor's degree in mechanical engineering, electrical engineering, chemical engineering, or a related field from an accredited institution (or international equivalent) within the last 3 years in an appropriate field.*

** Must have graduated with a cumulative GPA of 2.75 or above on a 4.0 scale (or equivalent).*
