B&A is seeking a SAP Manufacturing PLM Windchill – Functional Managing Consultant to support a federal government client operating within a classified environment. This role is responsible for supporting the functional configuration, testing, and sustainment of the integration between SAP ERP/S4

HANA and the PTC Windchill Product Lifecycle Management (PLM) platform across defense and energy sector manufacturing programs. Working in close coordination with the PLM Integration Lead, the ideal candidate brings solid hands‑on experience in both SAP engineering and materials management processes and PTC Windchill PLM, with a strong focus on execution quality, configuration accuracy, and cross‑team collaboration within a highly secure and regulated environment.

• Support the configuration, testing, and sustainment of the SAP – PTC Windchill Product Lifecycle Management (PLM) integration, executing functional design specifications and integration tasks under the direction of the PLM Integration Lead
• Participate in requirements‑gathering workshops and solution design sessions, documenting business process requirements, data mapping details, and integration configuration decisions across the SAP – Windchill boundary
• Configure and validate SAP‑side integration components including Engineering Change Management (ECM), Classification (CA), Document Management System (DMS), and Material Master data in support of PLM data exchange
• Support the design and validation of bidirectional data flows between SAP and Windchill including eBOM/mBOM synchronization, part master alignment, document transfers, and engineering change order processing
• Execute unit testing, string testing, and end‑to‑end integration scenario testing across the SAP – Windchill interface, documenting results and escalating defects to the Integration Lead for resolution
• Collaborate with SAP functional consultants, Windchill administrators, and technical integration teams to support interface configuration, data mapping validation, and middleware troubleshooting
• Assist in identifying and resolving functional integration gaps, data quality issues, and process misalignments between SAP and Windchill during design, testing, and production operations
• Develop and maintain configuration workbooks, test scripts, defect logs, and end‑user training materials in support of the PLM integration workstream
• Support cutover planning and execution activities including data validation, interface smoke testing, and post‑go‑live stabilization tasks
• Ensure all assigned integration deliverables remain compliant with federal defense engineering standards, configuration management requirements, and security protocols applicable to the classified operating environment

• Minimum of eight (8) years of experience in SAP configuration and implementation with demonstrated participation in SAP – PLM integration efforts
• Minimum of three (3) years of direct experience working with PTC Windchill PLM in a configuration, integration support, or functional consultant capacity
• Demonstrated proficiency in SAP – Windchill PLM integration activities including eBOM/mBOM data exchange, engineering change order support, document master data configuration, and part master alignment
