Job Family: Network Engineering

• Provide technical guidance for directing and monitoring information systems operations.
• Design, build, and implement VTC network systems.
• Support NNSA traditional enterprise VTC requirements on in‑scope networks.
• Support Video Conferencing Services, including planning, assessment, implementation, training, and ongoing management.
• Monitor and respond to complex technical hardware, software, and network problems.
• Interface with vendor support service groups to ensure proper escalation during outages or periods of degraded system performance.
• Utilize software and hardware tools to identify and diagnose complex problems and factors affecting network performance.
• Perform systems engineering tasks related to major system design, integration, and implementation, including personnel, hardware, software, budgetary, and support facilities considerations.
• Troubleshoot network systems and make improvements as necessary.
• Support all videoconferencing requirements of the John
  
  A. Gordon Albuquerque Complex, Nevada Site Office, Sandia Site Office, and other supported field offices identified by the COR.

• Bachelor's Degree (substitutions based on additional experience).
• 5+ years of related network engineering experience.
• Proficiency in Video Teleconferencing Services, End‑User Support, and Troubleshooting/Problem Solving.
• Strong written and oral communication, leadership, strategic planning, organization, and problem‑solving skills.
