  • Prepare and revise detail and design drawings for electrical and electronic equipment installations, plant wiring, and printed circuit board manufacturing and assembly, including mountings, frames, guards, conduit layouts, and wiring diagrams
  • Prepare several views of mechanical systems from layouts and manual references, obtaining dimensions and tolerances from manuals and by measuring layouts
  • Draw base and elevation views, sections, and details for construction and infrastructure projects including structures, roadway drawings, and utility line maps
  • Complete simple revisions from verbal direction and more complex revisions from sketches, computer models, or specifications
  • Work on familiar assignments with general direction and unfamiliar assignments with guidance on methods, procedures, and sources of information
REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS
  • Demonstrated experience with CAD software and conventional drafting techniques
  • Working knowledge of drafting terms, procedures, and standards applicable to engineering and construction drawings
  • Ability to prepare multi‑view drawings including sections, profiles, hidden lines, and detail views

  • Experience with electrical or electronic equipment drawings, wiring diagrams, or conduit layouts
  • Background in structural or civil drafting including bridges, roadways, or utility infrastructure
  • Prior experience in a DOE, nuclear, or similarly regulated technical facility
  • Familiarity with NX, AutoCAD, Creo, or similar CAD platforms used in engineering environments
  • Experience with GD&T and engineering drawing standards
