Looking for an opportunity to apply your electrical engineering expertise to one of the nation's most important national security missions?
COMPA Industries is seeking Electrical Engineers (Engineer 2 & Engineer
3) to support critical facility design, modernization, operations, and maintenance activities at Los Alamos National Laboratory. These positions are ideal for engineers who enjoy solving complex technical challenges while supporting high-consequence DOE and NNSA facilities.
- Perform electrical engineering design, analysis, and calculations
- Develop and review engineering design packages and construction documents
- Provide field, construction, and project engineering support
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary engineering teams
- Support facility operations, maintenance, and modernization projects
- Apply engineering codes, standards, and best practices to mission-critical infrastructure
- Bachelor's Degree in Electrical Engineering from an ABET-accredited university
- Engineer 2: Minimum 3 years of relevant electrical engineering experience
- Engineer 3: Minimum 6 years of relevant electrical engineering experience
- Experience developing engineering design packages and construction documentation
- Working knowledge of DOE, DoD, NEC, NFPA, NQA-1, IBC, or related engineering codes and standards
- Experience supporting industrial, utility, government, manufacturing, or nuclear facilities is highly desirable
- Ability to obtain and maintain a DOE Q Clearance
- 4x10 Work Schedule
- Long-Term Assignment with Extension Potential
